Grace started her PhD studies in September 2016 funded by the SFI CÚRAM centre for research in medical devices. Previously she graduated from the University of Limerick with a first class honours bachelor's degree in Applied Physics. Her PhD research focuses on stimuli-responsive magnetic-plasmonic nanoparticles for use in cancer nanomedicine, working under the supervision of Dr Christophe Silien and Prof. Tofail Syed in the MOSAIC group.
